PAPSA Announces 44th Annual Conference (February 14, 2022)

This year’s annual PAPSA conference will again be held via Zoom. The theme of our 44th Annual PAPSA Conference will be The New Pupil Services Puzzle: Putting the Pieces Together. This year’s sessions will be held on Thursday, April 7th and Friday, April 8th. Featured presenters for this year’s conference include:

  • Christian Moore – Internationally renowned expert on Resilience and founder of the nationally acclaimed WhyTry Organization.
  • Carole L. Clancy – Director of the PDE Bureau of Special Education, who will speak on Hot Topics in The Delivery of Special Education Services.
  • Dr. Dee Stalnecker – PASSWP Vice President and Professional Development Chair, who will speak on Social Work in Schools: What Pupil Services Administrators Need to Know.
  • Colleen Schultz, Division Chief of the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s Division of School Health Services, who will provide a School Health Services Update.
  • The Paul Stevens Memorial Legal Seminar with attorneys Sharon Montanye and Jane Williams, along with their associates from the law firm of Sweet, Stevens, Katz, and Williams, who will address legal issues impacting special education during a morning session, with an afternoon session focusing on legal issues related to pupil services.​
