Pursuant to Section 122 (a)4 of the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (also known as Perkins V) PDE will be presenting its proposed Perkins V State Plan to the Pennsylvania State Board of Education at its January 8, 2020 meeting at the Pennsylvania Department of Education, 333 Market Street, Harrisburg, PA 17126-0333.

Comments may be submitted electronically to the Perkins V email address, [email protected] or, members of the public are invited to provide any comments in person by attending the State Board of Education monthly meeting on January 8th.

Comments collected through the public comment period will be considered and revisions will be incorporated into the final State Plan, as appropriate.

The proposed Perkins V State Plan will be available for review at https://www.education.pa.gov/K-12/Career%20and%20Technical%20Education/Perkins/Pages/default.aspx on or by December 24, 2019. 

PDE will accept public comment on the proposed Perkins V State Plan beginning January 2, 2020 through February 3, 2020 under the required 30-day comment period prescribed pursuant to Perkins V, sec. 122.
