Help Homeless Children: Watch the Bridge Project in PA Informational Webinar (February 24, 2025)

Mental health and well-being can have a strong impact on studentsā€™ academic achievement. Children and youth experiencing homelessness often do not receive the mental health services they need, either due to a lack of or difficulty in accessing services, fear of stigmatization, or even embarrassment.

The Bridge Project in PA facilitates FREE access to mental health services for children and youth experiencing homelessness. The Bridge Project is part of Pennsylvaniaā€™s American Rescue Plan Homeless Children and Youth (ARP-HCY) Program and is available for a limited time.

On January 29, 2025 an online session webinar was held and the recording can now be viewed. The online information session provides an overview of the program and how you can make these services available to students experiencing homelessness. The session covers in detail the processes LEAs and Homeless Liaisons will follow to access the mental health services for children and youth experiencing homelessness.
