The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has updated vaccine interval guidance. The new recommendation is to space the administration of the first and second doses of the Pfizer or Moderna up to eight weeks apart. The extra time between doses is thought to reduce the risk of myocarditis to young men.
