On June 4, 2019, Patricia Hozella, Interim Director of the PA Bureau of Special Education released a memo titled 2019-2020 Special Education Compliance Monitoring Training and Schedule. Local educational agencies (LEAs) appearing on this year’s schedule for compliance monitoring for the 2019-20 school year are strongly encouraged to participate in one of the monitoring trainings held at the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN) offices listed below: PaTTAN Pittsburgh:  Monday, July 29, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; PaTTAN Harrisburg:  Thursday, August 1, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; PaTTAN East:  Friday, August 2, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. LEAs should review the 2019-20 monitoring schedule below before registering for the trainings.
