The 2012 PAPSA Conference is scheduled for the Eden Resort in Lancaster on April 18-20. The three days will be divided as follows:
WEDNESDAY – April 18. Pre-session from 2:00-6:00 PM aimed at new or recently employed pupil services administrators. This session will be conducted by members of the PAPSA Board and will focus upon such topics as legal issues, staffing, evaluation and program structure. It will be followed by a public meeting of the PAPSA Board from approximately 6:00-7:30 PM. Registration will be open from 7:30-9:00 PM.
THURSDAY – April 19. Various topical sessions, 1:00 to 1:30 hours in length. While the final program has not been determined at this point, it will definitely include a presentation on School Health Services by staff from the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s Division of School Health Services. Also, there will be a presentation by staff members from the school entity selected as winner of the 2012 Award of Excellence in Student Services. In the evening entertainment in the form of the President’s Networking Dinner will be planned at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater beginning at 6:00 PM.
FRIDAY – April 20. The 12th Annual Paul Stevens Memorial Law Seminar will be presented by attorneys from the firm of Sweet, Stevens, Tucker and Katz.
